Hello, world!
I am Robert. I am passionate in engineering web applications and love to try out new technologies doing that. My strengths are software architecture with object-oriented design and backend development using Python/Django and JavaScript.
I am studying at Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Potsdam, a town that borders to Berlin. That's why I am very close to the startup happenings in our capital.
In my freetime I love to play the guitar. I try to combine my passions by spending time in the research of algorithmic composition.
Work.
With 7 years of freelance experience I am used to work in direct contact with the customer. However, several software projects that were realized in a group brought me a lot of team experience. In these projects I apply and improve modern technics of collaboration, such as Scrum.
In my projects I focus on good software architecture, as I see a big gain in it concerning future maintainance. This also involves the use of test driven development.
I am also an Open Source enthusiast. I use Open Source software in my own projects and also contribute some of my projects to the community. These projects can be found at github.
